ML-73 D Series Fiber Laser Marker

The ML-73 D Series laser markers combine cutting-edge technology with  industrial robustness for a wide range of marking applications. This versatile series has numerous performance options to match the right laser to the application.

  • 10-100W fiber laser markers
  • High-power, high-speed laser marking system for metals, plastics, and ceramics
  • Excellent contrast and crispness of annealed and engraved marks
  • Air-cooled, sealed industrial package designed for operation in harsh environments
  • Powerful control software with industry standard programming

The system ML-73 D Series laser marker system is designed with multiple integration options to suit standalone operation, full production automation and prototype development. Owners of the ML-73 D Series also benefit from our commitment to providing industry-leading customer support. They are composed of galvo scan head markers used for marking metals, plastics and ceramics. Typical applications can be found in the medical industry, automotive and electronic components. Typical technical specifications of the system:

Field Size Working Distance Lens Diameter Wavelength Additional information
62 x 62 mm 98 ± 1 mm 90 mm 1064 nm ± 5 nm View source
99 x 99 mm 176 ± 2 mm 90 mm View source
157 x 157 mm 296 ± 3 mm 120 mm View source
291 x 291 mm 494 ± 5 mm 120 mm View source

The ML-73 D Series is particularly suited for high speed laser marking, laser engraving, laser etching, laser ablation and laser annealing resulting in high contrast marks on plastics, metals and more. May also be used for laser deep engraving, laser foaming and laser bleaching. The series consist of the following models:

Model Nominal Power Repetition Rate
ML-7310D 10 W 20-200 kHz
ML-7321D 20 W 20-200 kHz
ML-7320D 20 W 2-500 kHz, CW
ML-7322D 20 W 2-500 kHz, CW (Single mode)
ML-7340D 35 W 2-500 kHz, CW
ML-7350D 50 W 50-200 kHz
ML-7310D-HP 100 W 5-200 kHz

User configurable options and unique features enable these fiber laser markers to be tailored for optimised production and offers the following benefits:

  • High speed, high contrast marks on metal and plastics material
  • Excellent contrast and sharpness of annealed and engraved marks
  • Air-cooled, sealed industrial package designed for operation in harsh environments
  • Powerful control software with industry standard programming
  • Marker motion unit with integrated stage controllers for up to 4 axes

Marking systems are often required to control one or more motors or actuators to execute complex production sequences. the ML-73 D Series has an integrated motion system allowing the user to control up to four stepper motors (typically XYZ and Rotary) with integrated controllers using a the Winlase software interface for easy configuration and control without extensive hardware requirements.
